Scout boutique opened in a turn of the century townhouse on the mainstreet of West Reading, Pennsylvania in 2005. The creation of Pamela Bush, scout reflects a design aesthetic honed during a career in the fine and decorative arts that includes curating collections of 18th century American furniture, 19th and early 20th century European paintings, working as a muralist and designing interiors. Pam and scout recently found a new home on a ridge top above the Shenandoah River just outside the historic town of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. In an apparent case of premonition, Pam designed scout's logo years before the move. It is an uncannily close depiction of the new locale. Original Location
